how about 30-odd year old trick or treater, no kids. I said "you are too old for halloween!" he says, SUPER earnestly, "I'm collecting for my kid. he can't walk. He's 13 months." um... the poor child! Unable to walk and yet able to desire to participate in a holiday that he last witnessed at one month old. How are his teeth doing, cause those kit kats are kind of a lot to chew with 2-4 teeth.

and that is what I have to say. I should also note that I threw on my tuxedo and I was more costumed than half the kids who came by.

Yeah, we get a lot of sleeping babies in strollers, with the parents holding the bag. Sometimes the babies are so "asleep" they aren't even visible!

we got such a deluge of trick or treaters! we had to make a run to target for more candy. been a while since that's happened anywhere i've lived. ten bags' worth, all gone by ten.

Yes, I live in a house in a neighborhood now. Previously I was on the edge of campus in an apartment hidden from view.

I would have dressed up for Halloween but I spent all last weekend as a pirate at the Ren Fest.
