Ha. It seems the folks at Wikipedia are celebrating today as well. Featured article!

I guess making animated gif collages is sort of redundant in the YouTube era ... I will probably just watch videos all day, and then, what with it coinciding with the full moon on Moon-day and all, perhaps an interpretive dance to on the moors at the esbat.

Glad you showed me her--I like her voice, her literary lyrics, and her looks. That "Breathe" song (or breathing?)--fantastic concept.

Always happy to expose Kate's music (etc. :) to more people. Have you heard the album version of "Breathing"? It goes on and on with the nuclear holocaust documentary sample – truly chilling.

PS I just got "never for ever"--also great, though not as masterful as the Kick Inside. Turns out I had seen the "Violin" video once before... perhaps even through your LJ, if you ever posted it. I recognized it when she sang the chorus.

Thanks again

Ok, another update. Got "Lionheart"--it's my favorite so far--only one weak song on it, and every other song rules. I'm officially a Kate Bush fanboy.

i didn't know KB had her own holiday! crap. and here we were celebrating kate moss day... which basically involved not eating anything and then doing a couple of lines of blow and passing out behind the wheel.

Haaaa! I think I celebrated Kate Moss Day for about seven years in a row there in the '90s.

Katemas comes but once a year, although perhaps it is an important enough feast to warrant an Octave of Katemas. I think so! Through August 8th it is.
